PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing antibacterial nonwoven fabric having high deodorizing and antibacterial functions, excellent safety free from toxicity to human body and easy handleability. SOLUTION: An organic solvent solution of a polyester, polypropylene, polyethylene, etc., is spun through a spinning nozzle and the produced filaments are carried on an air stream ejected from an air gun, transported through a guide tube with the air stream and dispersed on a moving collection face with a dispersing nozzle. As an alternative, the spun filaments are swung in horizontal direction and deposited on a collection face moving perpendicular to the horizontal swinging direction. A spun-bond nonwoven fabric produced by the heat-embossing or needle-punching of the obtained web or the bonding of the filaments of the web is mixed with a powdery material produced by the double decomposition of fine powder of amorphous silicon dioxide and amorphous zinc oxide.
