ACCIDENT DATA DETECTING METHOD FOR EXPLICATING HUMAN BODY DEAD AND INJURED THRESHOLD VALUE IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect car body load and human body load in the case of a road traffic accident to obtain the true human body dead and injured occurrence threshold value by a traffic accident. ;SOLUTION: An accident spot image and the whole area image of crew, seats and loading goods and so on which are taken from the accident vehicle side at the time of an accident by television cameras 9, 11, 13 and human body and car body load detected by a load external force sensor 19 for crew and a strain gauge fitted to the car body are recorded in an automatic recorder 21 during a fixed time before and after the traffic accident. Th recorded data is taken to be basic data for calculating the threshold value. By performing correlative analysis with the medical record in a medical institution after the accident, it is made possible to obtain the true dead and injured occurrence threshold value of living human body caused by an automobile accident.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
