PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular velocity sensor that can grasp individual null voltage temperature characteristics, and an angular velocity sensor null voltage correcting method that can correct null voltage using the obtained temperature characteristics. ;SOLUTION: An angular velocity sensor 10 includes an angular velocity detecting element such as a vibrating gyroscope 12. Detecting piezoelectric elements 16a, 16b of the vibrating gyroscope 12 are connected to a differential circuit 28 and further connected to a synchronous wave detecting circuit 30, a DC amplifier 32 and an offset voltage regulator 34. The temperature is changed to measure the null voltage of the angular velocity sensor 10, and offset voltage is set by the offset voltage regulator 34 in correspondence with the inclination. At the time of use, the inclination of a temperature charcteristic is analyzed from the offset voltage to regulate null voltage. A correction signal separate from an angular velocity signal cab be outputted in correspondence with the inclination of the temperature characteristic.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
