AGENT FOR ANTIACTIVE OXYGEN, ANTIACTIVE OXYGEN AGENT, COSMETIC, FOOD AND MEDICINE CONTAINING THE SAME AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject agent, having excellent antiactive oxygen actions and remarkably reduced in malodor and color by roasting a vegetable oil seed and/or embryos, then carrying out the fermentation treatment, adding a vegetable oil, etc., thereto and treating the resultant substance according to a specific method. CONSTITUTION: This agent is obtained by roasting a vegetable seed (e.g. barley or soybean) and/or embryos (e.g. rice bran or wheat embryo), then carrying out the fermentation treatment with KOJI (malted rice) mold, subsequently adding a vegetable oil and/or vegetable seeds, e.g. sesame oil or powdered green tea thereto, extracting the resultant raw material substance with a polar solvent (preferably hydrous ethanol) and further washing the prepared extract solution with a nonpolar solvent (e.g. n- hexane) and subsequently treating the washed substance with active carbon (preferably standard charcoal). The treatment with the active carbon is preferably performed by using the active carbon in an amount of 2-3wt.% based on the raw material substance. Furthermore, the objective agent is preferably used in 20-500mg dose at a time and daily used once to several times so as to provide 20-1000mg total daily dose.
