APPARATUS FOR SIZE MEASUREMENT OF TATAMI MAT AND FOR DISMANTLING OF TATAMI MAT SURFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the dismantling operation of a tatami mat surface and the size measure ment of a tatami mat by using the same apparatus and to make an operation efficient by a method wherein a longitudinal size and a transverse size which are measured by respective size measuring parts are converted into electric signals so as to be stored in a portable storage means. ;SOLUTION: A longitudinal-size measuring part 9 is composed of a rail ruler 11 whose position is fixed to a frame 8 and of a rail contact plate 12 which is faced with the rail ruler 11 so as to be brought close to it or separated from it and which comes into contact with the rail on the other side. A transverse-size measuring part 10 is composed of an upper- front ruler 13 whose position is fixed to the frame 8 and of three lower-part contact plates 14, 15, 16 which are faced with the upper-front ruler 13 so as to be brought close to it or separated from it and which come into contact with the lower front. The rail contact plate 12 and the respective lower-front contact plates 14, 15, 16 detect advance and retreat amounts of individual cylinders by using encoders, and they measure the longitudinal size and the transverse size of a tatami part as electric signals. The dimensions of the external shape of the tatami mat are output to a magnetic card 18 from a control part 17 so as to be stored while the longitudinal size is sued as it is and after measured values of the respective lower- front contact plates 14, 15, 16 are averaged regarding the transverse size.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
