PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody weight and size reduction without limitations in the places of use by subjecting the charges generated by impartation of strains to a piezoelectric element to current rectification, storing these currents and applying the charges to a charge response medium. ;SOLUTION: This power source device is constituted by connecting the piezoelectric element 1 to a circuit 6 constituted by combining a bridge current rectifier circuit section 3 built-in with high voltage resistant diodes 2 which are four current rectifier elements and a condensed circuit section 5 consisting of a high voltage resistant capacitor 4. The charges generated by imparting the strains to the piezoelectric element 1 are subjected to current rectification in the bridge current rectifier circuit 3 and the stored by the high voltage resistant capacitor 4. The charge are applied to the charge response medium with which the display or recording is possible by the presence of the charges. The power source device is usable also as a power source device for applying the charges onto the display screen of a hand writing liquid crystal board. The charge response medium of such a case is a liquid crystal sheet having a conductive layer and a liquid crystal dispersed polymer layer formed by finely dispersing the liquid crystals into a polymer matrix.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
