PURPOSE: To provide the inside surface-coating method for hollow steel tower materials capable of easily and uniformly coating the inside surfaces of the hollow steel tower members at a specified coating material film thickness without degrading the strength of the hollow steel tower members. ;CONSTITUTION: A nozzle 4 of the outside diameter smaller than the inside radius of the hollow steel tower materials 3 is connected via a hose line 6 to a coating machine 2 for press feeding the coating material. This nozzle 4 is inserted into the hollow steel tower materials 3 from above these materials clown to the bottom end. While the nozzle 4 is held in the position within the specified distance from the axial center of the hollow steel tower materials 3 by a nozzle holder 5, the nozzle 4 is moved at a fixed speed via a hose line 6 by the nozzle moving device 7 and the coating material is ejected under a specified pressure from the nozzle 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
