PURPOSE:To obtain copy for an overhead projector easily, by forming a copy image for projection where either one of a transparent portion or a cloudy portion is employed as an image portion, while the other is employed as a texture portion onto a thermochromic film. CONSTITUTION:Upon exposure from the side of a thermochromic (TC) film 10 under the condition where it is contacted tightly with a document 11, an ink image T is heated and produces heat by the exposure which is transmitted to the TC layer 10T. At first, when the TC layer 10T in TC film is cloudy, only the TC layer portion which is transmitted with heat is heated to a temperature range T1 where it is made transparent, and the remaining texture portion is maintained in a cloudy condition. If TC layer portion is heated to a temperature range T2 by the heat transmittance where it is made cloudy and then cooled, under the condition where the TC layer 10T in TC film 10 is initially brought into transparent condition, then a projecting copy image having a transparent texture portion and a cloudy image portion can be formed onto the TC film 10.
