PURPOSE: To easily perform sampling of a component to be inspected by sampling an eluate into a tube connected to a passage without dropping it from the terminal of the passage and separating and holding by interposition of air. ;CONSTITUTION: When eluate comes out from a column 6, due to eluted protein component, the change of an electric signal is detected as a peak with a peak sensor 18 in accordance with the electric signal from a detector 8 and its signal is transmitted to a valve 22. Thereby, the valve 22 changes over passages, an eluate part from a flow cell 14 is introduced to a tube for preparative isolation 26 and air is discharged to a drain passage. When the electric signal received with the peak sensor 18 is lower than peak detection sensitivity, a peak detection end signal is transmitted, the passage of the valve 22 is changed over, the eluate not containing a component to be inspected is drained to the drain passage and air is introduced to the tube for preparative isolation 26.
