The support device (4) can be assembled together with a front or rear connected mowing machine or the basic component of such a mowing machine (10) to form a trailer mowing machine. The support part (5) has connection parts (6,7,8) for the three-point connection of the mowing machine. The mowing machine is articulately connected with the lower connecting parts (6,7) of the support part (5). The mowing machine is adjustably supported wrt. the support part at the working height. The mowing machine for work height adjustment is steplessly pivotable via a controllable hydraulic cylinder (22) from the tractor (1) around the pivot points in the lower connecting parts. The upper steering component (18) is pivotable around the pivot point in the upper connecting part.
