The invention relates to packaging, more precisely to folding boxes and their covers, which are created from a single blank and are used for cake packaging. The blank is made of cardboard sheet and consists of foundation (1) in the shape of an octagon (Fig. 1), which by edge (2) crease is combined with lateral sides (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) of the blank, between which could be found inside-foldable three-cornered areas (11). A crease (14) splits the area (11) in two sides (12,13). Line (14) is combined with cut lines (15,16) which form locking elements. The line (15) is drawn in parallel with foundation border, at 1/5th of the side height (till lateral of sides (4,6,8,10)), but line (16) goes further through until it meets the edge of the blank. The adjacent sides (3,5,7,9) have an external area (17) which could be folded over along border crease (18). In lateral sides (on 1/3rd length away from the external border and at an angle of 60 degrees) of the external area (19) cuts (20,21) are made for fixation of three-cornered area foldable part (12,13) with the help of cuts (15,16) which form locking elements. That allows to put parts, which are located behind cuts (20,21) and which are adjacent to external edge (19), between foldable three-cornered area (11) and corresponding area (3,5,7,9) of the side.IMAGE
