Process for the manufacture of non-replicable holograms possessing authenticity features and a reading device to check authenticity

The method manufactures true imitation holograms with genuine characteristics, which are true copies of a master hologram. As a master hologram, a hologram of a random structure optical element, especially a matt screen or a diffuser, which forms the genuine characteristics, is recorded using a lens, which leads to a hologram with a pattern of parallel lines. A reading device for testing the genuineness of the hologram copies has an optical arrangement with a laser, in which a hologram is manufactured with a reference beam comprising readable information.
