Adhesive in the form of discs or polygons for bonding to the road surface reflectors internationally known as 'studs'

The adhesive must be solid up to a temperature of 60 degrees C and withstand temperatures of up to 230 degrees C without losing its properties. It must have good adhesive powers both to asphalt and cement. The adhesive will be made in the form of discs or polygons with a thickness of about 2 mm and dimensions such as to cover the whole outline of the stud to be bonded. The discs must be separated from each other by non-stick paper of the type used in the kitchen called oven paper. For mounting, it is only necessary to provide a flame with which to heat the area to which the "stud" is to be bonded and raise the adhesive to its melting point. The "stud" is pressed onto the softened adhesive and bonding is complete as soon as the temperature of the adhesive falls to below 60 degrees C.
