Process for the production of synthetic leather based on polyurethane having the appearance of authentic cowhide

Process for the manufacture of a synthetic leather from polyurethane PU having the appearance of authentic cowhide which comprises a process in which a base material is coated with a layer of a mixture. This coated base material is then kept under water in a solidification tank to enable the mixture layer to solidify and is then taken from the solidification tank to be washed with water before the coated base material is dried by stretching to form a base synthetic leather which is then dried in a stove prior to being rolled. Finishing work on the synthetic base leather is then performed by dressing in such a way as to give the surface of the synthetic base leather the appearance of authentic cowhide.
