FIELD: animal farming. SUBSTANCE: method involves evaluating and selecting animals by productive and interior factors including complete milk yielding by comparing daily milk yield and residual milk quantity in response to injection of oxytoxin, uniform development of udder quadrants by the ratio of single-milking yield and residual milk in each udder quadrant; modeling selection parameters by algorithms including selection intensity determined by breeding cattle percent, repairability and dairy herd growth, with generation interval being determined by average number of lactations and cow selection coefficient, level of yearly rejection of cows and selection of first-calf heifers depending on the number of breeding calves in breed, herd recovery and growth percentage ; giving variable values to mentioned parameters to allow modeling (optimization) of selection variants to be effectuated on the basis of supposed algorithms by means of computers. EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for precise selection process. 6 tbl
