Method for protection against corrosion for metal, reinforced concrete or concrete piles in aggressive maritime environments

The method involves preparing the area of the pile which requires protection. The area is prepared by being sanded, stripped then sprayed with a soaping solution and then rinsed. An anti-oxidant may also be applied to prevent rusting. A housing (13) is then erected around the pile which is open at the top. A binder is then injected through nozzles (14) in the housing using a high pressure pump so that the binder progressively fills the housing and eliminates any water in it. As the binder is injected the nozzles are sealed off. After the binder has set the housing is removed to visually check the protected area.
