PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent video abnormality and edge damage by molding the rotating member of a rotary type guide pin from a resin contg. spherical particles at a prescribed content ratio so that the spherical particles precipitate on the outer peripheral surface. ;SOLUTION: The static friction force of the magnetic tape 4 guide surface of the rotary guide pin 7A and the tape 4 is a cause of trouble, such as video abnormality and edge damage, if this force is large. The pin 7A of the resin rotating member 8A is, therefore, molded by incorporating rigid spherical particles 16A of a metal having excellent wear resistance therein. External force, such as magnetic force or centrifugal force, is then applied thereon at the time of molding to precipitate the particles 16A on the surface of the cylindrical surface of the member 8A according to the range of optimum surface roughness, the grain size and the volumetric concn. thereof at the time of charging. Then, the pin is formed at a lower cost as compared with screw thread cutting and surface working by machining of the pin 7A having the resin member 8A or adoption of a metallic guide pin.
