PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily cultivate a plant without a stem or with a short stem like a so-called long-stem plant and to accelerate the spreading speed of roots as well. SOLUTION: This cultivation method of a potted plant for appreciation and a tree-like plant is composed of following respective steps. (1) A tube wound with an opaque insulation material provided with a heat insulation property and provided with an enlarged part in a funnel shape or a shell shape on an upper end is vertically inserted to a pot. (2) a base material 12 is filled to the enlarged part, the tube 14 and the pot 10. (3) A cut branch or a seed is inserted to the base material 12 filled in the enlarged part.
