PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure by fixing a water supply tank to always secure a water quantity not less than a prescribed quantity to an upper part of a building, operating water in the tank as a vibration control plumb bob at earthquake time, and supplying water by gravitational falling at water supply suspension time. ;SOLUTION: A water supply tank 2 having a heater pump or the like inside is fixed to an upper part of an attic or the like of a building 1. A motor-driven valve 3, and a storage quantity setting unit 4 having a float or the like are arranged in the water supply tank 2, and a storage quantity is always adjusted to and secured by a prescribed quantity. The storage quantity in the tank 2 is set so that a vibration control effect can be most obtained by considering a structure of the building 1. Its preset value controls water supply to the tank 2 by a controller 21. A hot water supply cock (a faucet) 7 and a fire hydrant (a sprinkler) are connected to the tank 2, and hot water (water) can be supplied by gravitational falling even at water supply suspension and power failure time when an earthquake occurs.
