PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a purification treatment continuously by surely removing earth and sand (particularly, sand having a particle size of 1.5 mm or less) contained in the sludge of a septic tank. ;SOLUTION: A sand removal bunker tank 14 is connected to the lower part of a lower end discharge port of a cyclone 12 (12a-12c), to which human waste or sludge of a purification tank is fed by a pump 11 under pressure, and the bottom portion of the tank 14 is inclined upwardly from one end to the other end thereof along the longitudinal direction and an opening is formed in the inclined bottom end and a screw conveyor 15 is connected to the opening so as to be located along the opening. And the upper end of the conveyor 15 is projected upwardly of a discharge port 14a of supernatant liquid provided at the upper part of the tank 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
