PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable all computers to speedily perform processing wherein the same information is shared by transferring information of a registered new object to a host name server and making the host name server which has received the information on the new object shares the information with other host name servers. SOLUTION: A management part 100a of a computer 30a receives a request to register new information to which an identifier (c) is attached from another computer side. A state detection part 160a checks the state of a communication line. At this time, a computer 50b is selected as a host computer in an optimum communication line state. The management part 100a sends a command requesting the computer 50b to send information stored in a memory part 250b and a management part 150b sends the stored information to the computer 30a. Consequently, information to which identifiers (a), (b), and (c) are attached is sent to the computer 30a. Then the management part 100a updates information in a memory part 200a with the information sent from the computer 50b.
