PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical surgery instrument and a method for a minimum invasion collecting of a blood vessel, particularly of an arteria thoracica interna for a coronary artery bypass transplantation. SOLUTION: This electrical surgery instrument 1 comprises a handle 2, scissors mechanism 4, and an elongated shaft 3 interposed therebetween. The total length from the terminal end, which is away from the handle 2 and at which collecting treatment is performed, to the base end of the handle 2 is between about 30 and 35cm. A rotating mechanism 7 is interposed between the handle 2 and the shaft 3, the lengths of which are about 15 to 17cm, respectively. The length of the scissors mechanism 4 having a pair of blades at its front end is between about 1 and 2cm. The handle 2, when introduced through a minimum invasive incision, is held in a hand for operation of the instrument 1, and includes a cover 5 extending in the longitudinal direction over its basic part and having a raised part 8. A drive part of a form of a lever 6 is mounted on a fulcrum mechanism 13 so as to provide a remote driving of the scissors mechanism 4, and a lead wire 9, 10 extends from the handle 2.
