PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve weather resistance of roofing while maintaining fitting strength to roof backing by fitting a hook part and a hooked part opposedly provided at lateral side parts or vertical end parts of a base to each other, then pressing the hook part and hooked part to connect them, and overlapping and nailing at least one fitting piece provided at the corner part of the upper end part. ;SOLUTION: A hooked part 1c formed of a bent piece to the upper face side provided at the right side part of roofing 1, and a hook part 1b formed of a bent piece to the lower face side provided at the left side part of adjacent roofing 1, are fitted to each other by hooking and connected by pressing, and a fitting piece 1g of a right corner part and a fitting piece 1f of a left corner part are overlapped and nailed. In order to roof upward, a hook part 1d formed of a bent piece to the lower face side provided at the lower end part of the roofing 1, and a hooked part 1e formed of a bent piece to the upper face side provided at the upper end part of the other roofing 1 are fitted to each other by hooking. Connecting parts of lateral side parts are shifted by the half width position of the roofing 1 so as not to coincide in a vertical row. Construction efficiency is further improved by previously connecting a plurality of roofing 1 according to the size of a roof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
