PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to visually check a supercooling history by hermetically sealing liquid which expands into a vessel when a temp. falls and attains a prescribed temp. and allowing the liquid to leak out of the broken point or clearance of the vessel when the temp. attains the prescribed temp. or above after a part of the vessel is broken by the expansion of the liquid. ;SOLUTION: The water or aq. soln. 3 which freezes and expands in its volume when the prescribed temp. is attained is housed into the vessel 1 of glass, etc., and is hermetically sealed by a cap 2. If, for example, the liquid 3 is the water, the water freezes and expands when the atmospheric temp. falls to ≤0°C. The cap 2 is loosened or extruded by the expansion. The frozen ice 3 is thawed and is run out of the vessel 1 when the atmospheric temp. attains ≥0°C. Then, the supercooling display implement once falling down to ≤0°C allows the sure supercooling and superheating state to confirm by visualizing as the cap 2 loosens to generate the clearance between the cap and an aperture 1a or is disengaged to runs off the water which is the liquid 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
