PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to search an excellent solution fast. SOLUTION: When a mathematical plan problem is inputted to this mathematical plan calculation device, a solution search way optimizing means 1 generates individuals 3a-3c having chromosomes showing a solution search way by using genetic algorithm. Those solid bodies form an individual group 3, which is passed to a solution searching means 2. The solution searching means 2 searches for a solution of the mathematical plan problem according to the solution search way indicated by the chromosomes of the solid bodies 3a-3c to generate solution candidates 4a-4c. The solution candidates 4a-4c are passed as a solution candidate group 4 to a solution search way optimizing means 1. The solution search way optimizing means 1 finds the adaptivity values of the respective solution candidates 4a-4c. When solution candidates of a next generation need not be searched for, the solution candidate having the best adaptivity value is used as the solution of this mathematical plan problem.
