BOOK RETRIEVAL SYSTEM AND STORAGE MEDIUM FOR BOOK RETRIEVAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an optional user to use a book retrieval system and also to obtain the information on how to acquire the books by preparing a right information data base which stores the right information on books in every book number, a means which answers the user about the number of book items, the number of books and the book right information, etc. SOLUTION: A book information data base 1004 stores the book numbers 1005 to identify the corresponding books with the book identification information used as an index. A right information data base 1006 stores the right information on books in every book number. Then a book number 1005 is acquired from the data base 1004 in accordance with an optional retrieval condition designated by a user with the book identification information used as an index. Furthermore, the presence or absence of the book corresponding to the number 1005, the book item number, the number 1005 and the information 1007 are given to the user in reply.
