PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain hosiery with five fingers of fingertips with decreased yarns, good in comfortableness to wear and excellent even in health. ;SOLUTION: This hosiery with five fingers of fingertips with decreased yarns comprises a finger bag 2 for the thumb, four other finger bags 3, 4, 5 and 6 divided therefrom, an instep part 7 prepared by uniting the respective five finger bags 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 and knitting the instep part 7, a hosiery body part formed by knitting an area ranging from the instep part 7 to the heel part into a tubular shape and a food inserting hole opened to the end of the hosiery body part. In this case, the thickness or the number of knitted yarns for knitting the finger bag 2 for the thumb and/or the four other finger bags 3, 4, 5 and 6 divided therefrom when knitting the ZOKKI (half hose) is decreased from that of knitting yarns 12 and 13 for knitting the instep part 7 within the range of (3/4) to (1/2) to thin the thickness of the finger bags 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 in the five-finger part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
