PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a desired characteristic profile in a welded part such as a prescribed formation by adding and alloying an alloy additive through a locking bar in a mold, after completing thermite reaction and separating molten steel from slag. SOLUTION: The molten metal 5 is flowed into the center of the mold 2 after reacting a thermite mixed agent in a reaction crucible 1 and risen in a feeder head part 3. In such a case, an overflow hole is closed. Finally, the molten steel 5 flowed out from the reaction crucible 1 forms the head part of a rail to execute a topping alloying treatment. The alloy component 9 is set to the height level at the top part of the rail in the mold 2 so as to bring the molten steel positioned at the upper part into contact with the alloy component 9 at the time of passing firstly flowed molten steel through the neighborhood having the alloted quantity of the alloy and starting to rise the filling level in the mold. This method can be executed e.g. by setting the alloy component 9 at the lower side of the locking bar 4 ordinarily arranged in the mold used in the case of executing the thermite welding method.
