摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain the data deleting device for a B-spline curved surface which enables efficient deletion without altering a large-area shape by repeating the calculation of a wavelet component calculating means and the calculation of a B-spline function component calculating means. ;CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with a means 101 which calculates components regarding the wavelet decomposition of the B-spline curved surface, a means 102 which calculates components of a B-spline function from the wavelet components of the B-spline curved surface calculated by the component calculating means, a means 103 which updates the wavelet components by using the components of the B-spline function calculated by the said means, and a curved surface data output means 104 which generates curved-surface data from the components of the B-spline function calculated by the B-spline function component calculating means and outputs the data. Then the B-spline function components are subtracted from the inputted curved surface and when the size of the curved-surface data becomes less than a prescribed value, the obtained B-spline function components are outputted as deleted curved surface data and the processing ends.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
