PURPOSE:To enable the unmanned operation of an electronic computer by automatically judging the propriety of the execution of a job after considering the activating states of the other jobs in exclusive control relation. CONSTITUTION:A job activation judging means 11 retrieves a job activating state management table 13 based on a job code corresponding to a job activating request from a job activating request system 20 and judges the job as activation possible when the activating state of the job is inactivated and all the starting states of the jobs of exclusive control objects corresponding to the job code registered in an exclusive job table 12 are inactivated or under fault. When it is judged that the job is possible in activation, a job processing execution means 14 refers to a job activating information file 17, extracts the job from a library 18, executes it and writes history information in a history file 19 at the time of normal completion.
