DEVICE FOR LIMITING CONSEQUENCES OF NUCLEAR-POWER PLANT ACCIDENT

Device for reducing the consequences of the nuclear power station accident after accidental outflow of the coolant from the primary circle of the reactor, considering also the possibility of disrupting the main circulation piping of this circle. Device consists of by-passing system (1), connecting canal (2) and barbotaging system (3). A problem to solve is enabling reconstruction of the older operating nuclear power stations which have not enough efficient localisation system inbuilt for reducing the consequences after accidental outflow of the coolant from the primary circle with proviso that at least three of the by-passing systems (1) are arranged in the place of the outflowing holes (4) of the ceiling (5) of the reactor building (6).
