The multilayer structure of the blade (2) includes at least one layer of natural cork, arranged and shaped to be a basic element of the structure. Alternatively the blade can have a light elastic flexible central zone and a heavier stiffer peripheral edge. The bat frame may be arranged to bend elastically under external stress in the table plane while being stiff in the orthogonal plane. The handle (1) may include a vibrating elastic element. The blade and handle structure provide prefixed reaction and bounce characteristics after the impact of the ball.
