We have discovered a method and apparatus for insect breeding. INFORMATION CONCERNING THE PHYSICAL AND EDIBLE INSECT needs as well as their behavioral characteristics are used to maximize the number of LARVAS MAIDS per unit area REGIME FOOD AND PER UNIT OF AREA OF AGING WHILE THE AMOUNT OF WORK Minimizes AND MATERIALS REQUIRED. It provides a rearing unit (1) positionable ENCLOSED IN AN APPROPRIATE ENVIRONMENT TO RAISE INSECTS. There are three sections in a unit of CRIA: 1) A SPACE FOR FOOD REGIME (2), 2) SPACE LARVAL (3), and 3) a waste SPACE (4). SPACE FOR FOOD REGIME (2) includes a medium suitable for FOOD OF INSECTS. SPACE LARVAL (3) is placed under SPACE FOOD (2) and includes a series of separations VERTICALES (12) which are perpendicular and are in contact or substantially contact with the medium where food THEREBY IS THAT THE INSECTS Larvae are dispersible ABOVE separations (12). SPACE waste (4) is placed under SPACE LARVAL (3) SO THAT ANY DISPOSAL TAKES PLACE IN SPACE waste (4) when produced WITHOUT INTERFERING WITH SPACE LARVAL (3) O SPACE REGIME NUTRITIONAL (2). The rearing system may also include an outbox INCLUDING AN EXIT TO ALLOW ADULTS LEAVING TO ENTER IN A BOX oviposition. The tray OUTPUT (30) replaces the waste collection tray (24) when all the larvae have been developed. BREEDING UNIT GETS FACE DOWN SO THAT outbox (30) is above SPACE LARVAL (3) AND SPACE FOR FOOD REGIME (29).
