FIELD: surface full-depth grinding with periphery of straight wheel for calculation of cutting forces, accuracy of machining, durability of grinding wheels, roughness of machined surfaces, etc. SUBSTANCE: coefficient of influence of lubricant-coolant on cutting forces is determined on the basis of actual sizes of sample sections ground with and without use of lubricant-coolants. Actual motion of spindle is determined by the sizes of ground sample. For this purpose sample is divided into three sections, grinding wheel is adjusted for the required cutting depth preset by machining conditions, and the first section of sample is ground without use of lubricant-coolant at minimum longitudinal feed rate. The second section of the sample is ground without use of lubricant-coolant at the longitudinal feed rate preset by machining conditions. The third section of the sample is ground with use of lubricant-coolant at longitudinal feed rate and preset machining conditions. Then height of ground part of each section is measured and coefficient is calculated by the formula given in the invention description. EFFECT: reduced cutting forces and raised the accuracy of machining by 25%. 1 dwg
