FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying gravimetric test at the 6-10 day from the beginning of myocardial infarction attack to determine total displacement of ST segment on Neb electrocardiogram. Prediction index PI is calculated from PI=A x (0.0048 x A - 0.51) + ST x (-6.67 ST - 0.17) + 18.735, where A is the patient age in years, ST is total displacement of ST segment on Neb electrocardiogram. PI5 being observed, unfavorable myocardial infarction outcome is predicted. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis. 1 tbl
