A transparent circular-sectioned glass wind-shield (2) is positioned over the circular-sectioned glass fuel container (1) and encloses the wick-holder, leaving space between them. A supporting plate (6) for the wick-holder (9) covers the opening (4) and rests on the rim (3a) defining the opening. The crosswise size of the opening (11) is smaller than the wind-shield's top opening. The fuel holder and wind shield are made of one piece of transparent material. The rim round the opening is formed by an inward-bent ridged part of the wall (3) between the fuel container and wind shield. The supporting metal plate has at least one filler-opening. The rim of the support plate has incisions (7) pointing towards the centre and forming tongues (6a,b) each second one (6a) of which is bent at a slant downwards.
