A process for the parameterization a receiving station with adaptive antenna devices and adaptive filter for time-varying channels

The parameter setting method evaluates the reception signals provided by at least two adaptive antenna devices (AE). The combined reception data (z) is then compared with reference data (y) to provide error values (e)that are then fed to a channel estimator (ACE). The channel estimator simultaneously determines the antenna coefficients (a) and the channel (RW) coefficients for minimising the error values, using optimisation criteria. Pref. the channel coefficients has a combined offset value (R) and the individual channel coefficients have an individual offset value (W).
