A device for connecting two busbar systems has a base plate (3) to which contact springs (6) and connecting rails (7) are fastened. On the output ends of these connecting rails, which are L-shaped, there are also contact springs (8) mounted. The base plate is located on a mechanically rigid carrier plate (5) parallel to it and is located between the two busbar systems. The contact springs on the base plate are opened towards the contact springs mounted at the ends of the connecting rails. The output leg of the one rail penetrates through a hole in the base plate and the carrier plate. The base plate is made from insulating material.
