Soil stabiliser, consolidator and heavy metal immobiliser easily mixed and uniformly distributed in soil

An agent for stabilising, increasing the bearing strength and immobilising soil contaminated with heavy metals contains (a) quicklime (CaO) and/or slaked lime and (b) nitrogen-carbon-thio (N-C-SH) compound(s) (I) or its water-soluble thio salt, which binds mono- or/and di-valent heavy metals. Also claimed are methods of (a) producing the agent and (b) treating contaminated soil.
