Solid, liquid or gas fuel burner with swirl of combustion air

The device induces swirl or rotary movement of gases in a burner. The burner has a flame tube which contains a number of recirculation openings which admit recirculated gases into a mixing chamber defined by the tube. The fuel supply line and injection nozzle are mounted centrally inside an air tube. Incoming air comes up against the flat bottom surface of a cup-shaped member. There are holes in the flat bottom of the cup-shaped member and also in the sides. Air flows into the end of the air tube and also though the holes in the sides into small-diameter tubes which are tangential to the air tube and impart a swirling motion to the air in this tube.
