PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide support units for loading elongated objects, on which elongated objects can be easily stacked, which are applicable to products having different lengths, and which are light in weight, require only a small storage space, and produce a small quantity of waste materials at the time of dismantling, and also provide an assembled rack of the support units and a method for loading elongated objects by using these support units and assembled rack. ;SOLUTION: Each of these support units includes a shelf for placing elongated objects thereon, and fitting portions for mutually connecting the upper part of the unit to the lower part of another unit to build them up. At least both edges of a plate-like member 32, which are positioned in the longitudinal direction of the member 32, are pinchingly held by connecting members 33, 35 provided in the vicinity of both the edges, and the fitting portions are formed with recesses 37 provided by projecting one end of each of the connecting members 33, 35 in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the plate-like member 32 and with protrusions 38 provided by projecting the plate-like member 32 from the other end of each of the connecting members 33, 35. Further, an assembled rack is constituted on a pallet by building up plural paired support units side by side under the condition that the shelves 36 for placing the elongated objects thereon are opposed to one another.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
