PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a drink from residues (waste liquid) left after a shochu is distilled on its production, namely shochu distillation residues, and to provide a drink produced from the shochu distillation residues. ;SOLUTION: This drink is produced by subjecting sweet potatoes or grains as a raw material to a saccharification treatment and a subsequent alcoholic fermentation, distilling the fermentation product (unrefined shochu) to produce the B-class shochu consisting mainly of alcohol, adding a sweetener to the distillation residues and subsequently grinding the mixture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
