PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a large space in the rear of a cup holder part by forming the deep wall of the cup holder part by a shielding member movable between the housing part and rear surface part of a console box. ;SOLUTION: In the use of a cup holder device, when a cup holder part 13 is pulled forward, a shielding member 26 is protruded to a position slightly forward from the rear surface part 4 of a console box 1. When the cup holder part 13 is pushed back into the console box 1 to house the cup holder part 13, the shielding member 26 is moved forward by the frictional force with the side surface part and laid in the state contact with the rear surface 2A of a housing part 2. When it is further continuously pushed back, the top end 20 of a holder plate 18 abut to a curved surface 29 in the upper part of the shielding member 26, the top end 20 of the holder plate 18 is forced to rotate downward by the synergistic effect of the curved surface of the top end 20 and the curved surface 29, and the shielding member 26 is housed in the space with the rear surface part 17 of the cup holder part 13 as it is.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
