PRODUCTION OF HIGHLY STRETCHABLE YARN AND PRODUCTION OF HIGHLY STRETCHABLE WOVEN FABRIC UTILIZING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a highly stretchable woven fabric to be windely usable in all fields of industries, not restricted to those using fabrics especially by manifesting excellent stretchability of the woven fabric both in directions of warp and weft. ;SOLUTION: A highly stretchable yarn in which a bilateral structure is formed is produced by twisting a polyester DTY yarn or a synthetic fiber yarn, subjecting the twisted yarn to a low temperature setting treatment at ≤80°C for 40 min and again subjecting the resultant product to secondary twisting through a twister and further twisting, then a woven raw satin damask is obtained by using this resultant raw yarn as warp and weft. The raw satin damask is subjected to dyeing process at 110-130°C to obtain the objective highly stretchable woven fabric.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
