PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect a part, where operation is changed when the size of integer type object is changed, out of a source program described in a C++ language. SOLUTION: A C++ source program 2 described in the C++ language is inputted and a pattern, with which the operation of program is changed when the size of integer type (chart type, short type, int type or long type) object determined by the specification of C++ language is changed, is detected by analyzing the inputted source program. Information concerning the name of file in which the source program corresponding to that detected pattern is described, line number, name expressing an object and operation is outputted as a detection message 4.
