PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the subsidence or infiltration of a water permeable paved road surface structure into a lower layer and effectively prevent the loss of joint sand by applying the constitution that the lower layer for laying water permeable blocks are formed to have specific thickness and made of single-grainsized crushed stone having a specific grain size. ;SOLUTION: A paved road is formed out of a roadbed 1, a lower subbase course 2, an upper subbase course 3, a single-grainsized crashed stone layer 4, a water permeable sheet 5 for preventing a joint from being washed away, a water permeable block 6 and joint sand 7, respectively in order from the lowest position. Furthermore, the single-grainsized crashed stone of the single-grainsized crashed stone layer 4 has a grain size between 2.5 mm and 19 mm, and layer thickness between 20 mm and 100 mm. Also, the crashed stone after laid is compacted by use of a machine. Furthermore the single-grainsized crashed stone is used, instead of a sand cushion layer, thereby allowing the transfer of a recycled material. As a result, the acquisition of materials becomes remarkably easy, and a lowering in water permeability or subsidence into a lower layer due to the solidification or the clogging of sand can be eliminated. Also, a construction work and a work using a machine can be implemented under the rainy weather, and even work efficiency is improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
