INSPECTING METHOD FOR COMPUTER PROGRAM OF C LANGUAGE CHANGING IN OPERATION WITH SPECIFICATIONS AND PROGRAM STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the development of a program by automatically detecting or correcting a place where operation changes with the specifications of a language the a compiler conforms with in a source program described in the C language. SOLUTION: The C source program 2 described in the C language is inputted and a pattern having differences in operation because of specifications that the compiler conforms with such as K & R specifications and standard C specifications is detected by analyzing the inputted source program. Information regarding the name of a file where the source program corresponding to the detected pattern is described, the line number, and the name representing an object and operation is outputted as a detection message 4. Further, the source program is automatically corrected so that the operation will not change.
