PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring control device of a hydro-electric power station, which can continue the operation of a generator as much as possible when abnormal state occurs and can respond to the load requirement as much as possible as the total system. ;SOLUTION: This device has a local area network, which mutually connects each abnormality monitor 4 and each automatic controller 6 provided in each of a plurality of water-wheel generators 1. And when any of the abnormality monitors 4 has detected the abnormality of the waterwheel generator to be monitored, the abnormality monitor 4 transmits the abnormal signal having the abnormal ranking to the automatic controllers 6 of own and other monitor controllers 2A-2C through the local area network 10. The own generator, which has received the abnormal signal, refers to the abnormal rank. When it is judged that the abnormality does not require the emergency stopping, the operation is continued by adding the output limitation without stopping the own water- wheel generator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
