PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus capable of effectively preventing a cat from entering a sand pit, etc., and expelling a cat even if once entered, comprising a sensor, a sprinkler, a connecting part for linking the sprinkler to a water supply, and an operation part. ;SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a sensor 1 capable of detecting a cat, a sprinkler 2 for spraying water, a connecting part 3 for linking the sprinkler 2 to a water supply, and an operation part 4 for working the sprinkler 2 by the signal of the sensor 1. The connecting part 3 may be made of a pipe or a hose and the operation part 4 may be a solenoid valve. A cat is detected by the sensor 1, water is sprinkled from the sprinkler 2 connected through the pipe or the hose to the water supply by the signal of the sensor 1 to a cat expelling zone or its circumference so that the can be expelled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
