SABONIUS-TYPE WIND MILL AND WIND-POWER GENERATING DEVICE USING SABONIUS-TYPE WIND MILL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a high output power by increasing an efficiency of a sabonius-type wind mill and by generating a high rotation or a high torque, and to cheaply provide an above-mentioned generator having a small size and a light weight. ;SOLUTION: The subject sabonius-type wind mill is equipped with plural fixed wings 13, installed outside a rotary wing 11 and outwardly from the fixed frame 12, as the wind outside the rotary wing 11 is introduced into the rotary wing 11. A high rotation or a high torque can be generated in the wind mill, because a large amount of wind is introduced into the rotary wing 11 by the fixed wing 13, and resistance of the rotary wing 11 against the wind can be decreased. The power, obtained by a rotation of the rotary wing 11, is transferred to a generation unit 15 through a rotation-transfer pulley 14, and converted into an electric power.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
